Virtual camera for Microsoft Teams
Teams picks up virtual cameras the same way it picks up a USB webcam. CamLooper creates one and loops a video file into it, so a pre-recorded clip plays exactly where your live feed would.

Install CamLooper
Install from the download page. The Windows installer registers the virtual camera driver during setup.
Load a clip and press Start
Choose the video you want on camera. It decodes locally and loops into the virtual camera device.
Pick it in Teams
Go to Settings → Devices → Camera and select CamLooper Virtual Camera, or change it from the pre-join screen.

Does Microsoft Teams support virtual cameras?
Yes. Teams lists any camera the operating system exposes, which is how OBS and other virtual cameras appear in it. CamLooper registers the same way.
Is CamLooper free for Teams?

CamLooper isn't in the Teams camera list. What now?
Teams scans for cameras at launch and keeps running in the tray after the window closes. Right-click the Teams tray icon and quit, start CamLooper, then reopen Teams. If it's still absent, work through virtual camera not showing up.
Does it work with Teams in the browser?
Yes. Browser Teams reads the same system camera list — reload the tab after starting CamLooper so the browser refreshes its device list.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. Decoding happens locally with FFmpeg and frames go straight to the virtual camera. The file itself never leaves your machine.
What this is not for
Don't use CamLooper for proctored exams, identity or KYC verification, job interviews, or to impersonate anyone. It exists so you can meet a camera-on requirement without broadcasting your home to a room of strangers.
